Subject: [DL-N] Woodlenn's darkside and the real reason he hides.
Day 4 early afternoon
Jeneve's office.
Ranker stands up looks to the door, and says "Are we through here?"
"Yeah." Breezy replies.
"Good! Do you think we can get this trial over with quickly. So I can
get back to my business. I've got a lead on the men that destroyed my
town, and want to get then as soon as possible." Ranker said as he
turned to the door.
Then he turns back, and says. "Oh. I will turn in one of my crossbows
later today for evidence. So please be here later. Like around early
evening please. I'm hoping the when the judge looks at it that it will
prove that my statement is true. You seen it, and know that with that
rapid firing mechanism that if I wanted to kill them then they would
be dead. All of them."
"Well good bye Breezy, And try to get some sleep. You look awful."
Trying to hold back knowing he was trying to be nice Breezy said. "You
to have a nice day."
"Thanks I will." Ranker said as he walked out, and closed the door
behind himself.
<Tag Tree please still do the last Tag I sent cause I really want to
see the response Breezy gives, and ad anything to this one, but please
remember Ranker is trying to be nice.>
Day 4 mid afternoon
Dining hall
Ranker is now sitting down to eat. He notices that everyone is staring
again at him. "My how news travels through here on leather wing." He
thought to himself knowing that all the dragon have been asking
Kautivrad why he is traveling with a murderer, and that Kautivrad has
been saying that Ranker is not a murderer. That he only kills if he
has to.
"Excuse me Wood I have another table, but I'll be back." Elf said as
she got up to go back to work.
All Woodlenn could think is "I hope she did not see my ears." as he
watched her shake her fine booty over to Ranker's table just a few
feet away.
"Hi can I take your order" Elf said very professional no matter how
she feels about Ranker.
"Please sit down with me. I am not a king or a lord you do not have to
stand to take my order.
<Tag Elf for her response, and anyone else that might want to talk to
Ranker in the dining hall, or Woodlenn.>
Day 4 late after noon
in Woodlenn's bow shop.
Woodlenn is working on a new bow when someone walks in.
"Hi! Can I held you?" Woodlenn asks the strange man.
The man is dresses in mid class clothes, about six foot two inches,
and medium build.
The man looked around seeing that the place was very dark. Just a five
foot by ten foot aria from the door to the counter. With a lantern
along both sides of the door. Behind the counter was what appeared to
be a ten foot by ten foot room with all the merchandise along the
walls lighted by hooded lanterns. That only lighted the walls, and the
merchandise. On the counter was two candles to light the money, and the
merchandise bought.
"Just looking around. I guess." The man said while trying to see who
he's talking to.
"Well let me know if you see any thing." Wood said still working on
his bow.
"Hows about that bow your working on." The man said.
Woodlenn finished the bow, and put it on the counter.
"That's a mighty fine bow." The man said trying to look under Wood's
hood. "I've seen it make before in Ravensdale." The man continued.
"What are you looking at." The hooded boy said as he drew back to the
shadows.
"It is you!" The man said as wood pulled back. "I'd recognize those
pointed ears any where." The man continued. "Your wanted in Ravensdale
for the rape, and murder of a young girl. The price on your head is
pretty steep."
Wood Reached over, and put out the candles on the counter with his
bare hands, and said."You would like to collect that bounty? Would you
not?"
"Hell yeah!" the man replied.
"Well not today. Because I can not have you running around telling
everyone my secret." Woodlenn said as he notched two arrows in his
bow.
Then the archer let off the arrows. One went into the mans chest, the
other into his throat. As the man stumble backwards choking on his
blood unable to yell, or speak the young man jumped over the counter,
and in one move unsheathed his sword, and decapitated the man.
Woodlenn collected up the body, and headed for the guards station.
Day 4 early evening
at the guards station.
Wood threw the corpse at the feet of the guard on duties, and said
"this man tried to rob my shop, so I brought him to you. Please excuse
the mess, but I can not just let this man kill me you under stand
right."
"Yes of coarse Wood. We will take care of all this you just go back to
your shop, and I'll have someone come, and take your report. Don't
worry your not in trouble. This happens once, and a while. Nun of the
shop keepers get in trouble for defending there shops. It's just
routine to take a report." The guard reassured Woodlenn.
Day 4 late evening
Woodlenn's shop.
{Knock knock.}
"Come in." Wood said.
A guard walked in. "So is everything in good standing? What happened?"
The guard asked.
"Everything is fine. He pulled his sword, and told me to give him the
coins. Instead I gave him two arrows, and a sword to the throat. That
is all that happened." Wood explained.
"Ok that's all I need. Good night Wood."
"Good night James."
Wood locked up after the guard left. Went up the stairs in the back of
the shop to his apartment, took a hot bath, got dressed, and went to
bed.
Submitted by James for
Ranker, Kautivrad, and Woodlenn.

Day 4 mid evening.
After Ranker got done at Jeneve's office talking to Breezy he grabbed
a bite to eat at the dinning hall. Where he noticed everyone staring
at him again.
Wood gets a strange visit from a man that knows him, and that Wood is
accused of killing a young girl in Ravensdale. So Wood kills him to
keep his secret of his past, and maybe about his pointed ears to. Hope
not lol.

Subject: [Changeling-WW] Travelling the High Road
Scene: The High Road, leading to the Castle of Light
It had been 5 hours since they had left the Guardhouse. The way was
clear,
for the most part, though a sudden snowstorm erupted around them an
hour
out, and they had to wait two further hours for it to pass.
There was a cold chill in the air, causing the riders to wrap
themselves
warmly. Calyn was silently glad that they had been offered the cloaks
by
Master Tangleweave. Kenisha led the way, while Emily rode beside him,
Miv
clutching to the Sidhe for warmth.
The skies had cleared, though the bright sun did little to warm the
travellers. Rumours had abounded about the storms and snow, despite it
being
on the tail end of March. Talk said that there were snow drifts over 5
feet
in places.
Kenisha rode ahead for a bit, then came quickly back. "I've found a
cosy
little nook for our lunch." She said with a smile, obviously keen to
be on
an adventure.
They rode forward and found themselves in a small glen, protected from
the
wind and snow by a thick copse of trees, and large boulders. With the
wind
cut off, the hollow seemed almost cozy. Emily and Kenisha agreed to
fetch
wood for a fire, while Miv and Calyn remained behind to take care of
the
horses, and to prepare the food.
"Who wants some nummy-nums then?" Miv asked the horses, as she led
them
away, towards an uncovered patch of grass. One of the horses nuzzled
her,
and she purred back. She turned and looked down at the grassy patch.
"Hardly
enough for one of you, never mind the two others." She said
critically, arms
akimbo.
She shrugged and let the horses eat. "I'll bring back an apple each
for you,
and some oats." She said, patting one of them as she started back
towards
the make-shift camp.
The snort caught her attention. Definitely not from one of the horses,
much
too deep for them. Besides, it came from her left, and she definitely
remembered leaving the horses to her right.
A deep, sibilant voice rumbled beside her. "Now then, little morsel,
shall I
just scarf you down now, or shall I find some amusement out of you
first?"
Miv glanced over and up at the large, green, scaly head that was
looking
down at her. Many sharp teeth, some four inches long, formed a deadly
grin.
NRPG: Something to hopefully get things picked up again. Make it into
whatever kind of creature you want - dragon, forest wyrm, some lizardy
creature. And remember, we don't always have to fight to get out of
trouble
.... though it could be the easiest way, or the hardest.
Have fun, and try not to get eaten ;)

Day 4 - late morning
Dargis made his way to the administrative center, casting a
look back over his shoulder and catching sight of Delilah. He was
half tempted to go and speak with her, but from what he had heard and
knew, she probably still needed time to adjust to everything. She
would talk to him eventually, it was just a question of time. If she
waited too long, though, he would take matters into his own hands.
Walking into the admin center was like walking into a tomb.
He could hear himself breathing. The slightest motion echoed off the
walls as if he had stepped into a place that hadn't been occupied for
thousands of years. There should have been more activity than this,
even if there was some sort of celebration, but there wasn't. The
only activity he heard was coming from Jeneve's office
Moving down the hallway, the door to Jeneve's office stood
slightly open as though it were forgotten in haste. Breezy and
another man he didn't know were there, having a discussion. Catching
a couple snatches of conversation, he learned where Jeneve was.
He moved out of the center quickly. Focusing on his bond, he
contact D'lion, <D'lion, where is everyone?>
**Going about their business for the most part. There does
seem to be a general buzz about Jeneve.**
[..]
Dargis approached the door leading to Jeneve's room and was
getting ready to open the door when a voice stopped him, "No
visitors, she's exhausted."
Dargis turned around to see Freya, who seemed equally
startled to see him, "Dargis?"
The gardener nodded, "I've been tending to my garden for a
bit too long that I forgot about my garden of friends. How is she
doing?"
Freya shook her head, "Not good. Jale did all he could, but
it wasn't enough."
Hearing the tone in her voice he concluded what had
happened, "Oh my, that's not good, not good at all."
"We used some of the herbs that you had grown all over the
place to help, but some things don't have a cure," Freya said, grief
flashing across her face.
Looking at her closely, Dargis saw the exhaustion evident in
her posture, "You should get some rest, Freya. I can sit here by the
door and listen and make sure she's okay. My Uncle Nat always said
that you can't help others if you can't help yourself. I'm freshly
rested and you should be."
