Subject: [Vampire-WW] Plots Within Plots
Scene: Lindsey's apartment, Night 5
Lindsey took a deep breath, and offered a wan smile up to Agent
Falstaff.
"I'm sorry I couldn't be of much help this time around."
Martin nodded. "I do appreciate your efforts, Miss Daniels. We cannot
succeed at every task we are given, as much as we would like to."
He walked towards the door, and Lindsey followed with a shrug. "I
suppose
so. Still, if you need anything else, just give me a call."
Martin nodded slightly to Ann, who sighed and got up. "Of course, Miss
Daniels. Agent Carter will remain behind for a few more minutes while
I
attend to an im****tant matter." He took Lindsey's hand and gave it a
brief
shake. And then, he took his leave.
Scene: Outside Elysium, Night 7
Markus duChamps nearly exploded with glee once he had left the council
chamber. He shook his head with a grin. How little Arsellers knew of
the
worth of his 'little trifle'.
To think that that woman had a daughter, and if he remembered
correctly,
looked very much like her. Armande would give anything to have his
chance
again.
He ducked into his awaiting car. "A la maison." He said distractedly
to the
driver. A chance now to finally rule the Tremere chantry, as was his
right.
No more would Martin hold sway over them. Ever since Armande had all
but
abandoned his seat, it had left many decisions at a stalemate. Martin
and
his lap-dog Karen Styles would voice their sup****t one way, while
Markus and
his own lap-dog would go the other. Locking horns and never proceeding
forward, all because of Armande's abstention.
But now ... now Markus had something that Armande would pay dearly
for. And
having his vote at the Tremere tribunals would be just the thing.
Markus smiled. Yes, this would work out just perfectly.
Scene: Victory Cemetery, Night 8
He watched them from afar, the mausoleums that scattered the cemetery
provided many hiding spots, even without knowledge of how to use the
shadows.
Two women in themselves were not strange, though few took a path
through a
cemetery at night, at least not those who were local. Jorge had not
seen
them before, nor did they look like they were out for a night on the
town. A
pity, for drunken hazes made it easier.
He used the shadows to move closer, only mildly interested in what
they were
doing. The two women seemed to be searching the cemetery, scanning the
graves and tombs that lined the path they were on.
Jorge paused, waiting in the darkness as they approached. Circling
around
the tomb he was hiding behind, he came up behind the first. A sharp
blow
sent her crumpling to the ground, and alarming her companion.
Geli turned quickly to see a withering corpse standing over Ann, a
chunk of
granite in his hand. He peered at her with dim, pin-prick eyes in a
weathered, shrunken face. A tongue glided over his lips.
"Now then, sweetie, what say you and I get to know each other, up and
close
like." He grinned, stalking towards her.
NRPG: Trying to get some plot lines done with so characters can all
get to
relatively the same point, time-wise.
Teri/Atalanta: Just left Ann behind to have her clear away any other
items
that 'mortals are not meant to see'. No need to continue the scene
unless
you feel more discussion is necessary. This will finally allow Lindsey
to
catch up to the rest of the players.
Carys: The ball is rolling for Josie and Armande. Have fun :)
Katrina/Atalanta: The attacker is a Samedi vampire, but other than a
name, I
have no other stats or details. Do as you will. Atalanta, if you are
able to
join back up with us, feel free to have Ann wake.

for
Clan Tremere

Subject: [Changeling-WW] The Early Wyrm ...
Scene: The High Road, leading to the Castle of Light
Kenisha looked over to Calyn as he got to his feet. "My Lord, might I
inquire as to how many dragons you have slain before today? If it is a
great
beast that approaches, I would like to properly introduce you before
the
battle begins."
Before Calyn could answer, however, the beast arrived unannounced.
The creature was long, with a thick, sinuous body that threaded it's
way
around shrubs and trees and disappearing into the woods. Its head was
large,
covered with thick green scales, short spikes, and two ornate horns
that
curved back across its head. Two sharply taloned feet crushed a bush
that
had the folly to stand before it.
"How wonderful!" The creature boomed. "And to think that I thought
today
would prove highly unstimulating. Not only a morsel to nibble on has
appeared, but what appears to be a nice selection for a main course."
It
grinned widely, exposing its many long, sharp teeth.
Calyn drew his sword in a flash, moving with fluid grace as he stepped
in
front of Miv to place himself between her and the creature. "There is
always
a first time." He replied to Kenisha question.
Emily stepped up beside Calyn, armed as well. She spoke in a
commanding yet
respectful voice. "Please, good creature, let us not resort to
violence.
Perhaps we can settle this without the use of sword and talon?"
The creature reared back. "Creature?!" It intoned in surprise. "I am
more
than some scurrying animal. I am Tsocolanth, Wyrm of the Great Forest,
Keeper of Lore from the Time Before Time." He snorted. "Creature
indeed."
"I misspoke, good Tsocolanth, but you have surprised and threatened
us."
"I am in need of sustenance. If not from you, then where am I to
obtain it?"
NRPG: What next? :)
Chris, aka Calyn Greystrider, Sidhe of House Scathach.

Subject: Little Searcher and the Stranger
[Day 7 Evening]
{Snip}
She didn't have time to react, everything suddenly went completely
black and icy cold, and her stomach felt like she'd left it someplace
else. Just as suddenly light returned and she was looking down, not
at the market square, but on a smooth expanse of green rimmed with
high rock walls full off holes, and there were dragons lying on
ledges outside the holes. On the ground, moonlight shone on the
surface of water, and she could hear the waterfall, even from this
height. Small orange torches seemed to light the crisscrossed
pathways below.
Looking up, past the rim of the rock walls, she searched frantically
for something recognizable. Where was the market town, where was the
road back to the farm, where was her da and her kin, where was
anything she knew? Jilly clutched at the back of Gob's leather
jerkin, even as she raised a hand and started frantically smacking
him upside the top of his head as tears of fear welled up in her
eyes. "Gob! What did you do? Where are we? Take me home. What is
this place? How did we get here?"
{End Snip}
"Don't you worry Jilly this is Whiteriver," Gob beamed with pride.
True
he hadn't been to many places, but to him the warren was the most
beautiful place in the world.
"Whiteriver..? Why have you brought me here? I demand you take me home
right now." Her voice rose over the wind.
"Hang on to your shorts, like I said you're going to be a dragon rider
so I need to introduce you to some people." Gob tried to explain as
Nightwind made his way to the green.
"I never said I wanted to be a dragon rider, besides my family needs
me
back home. I would wager they are already searching for me and worried
sick." She complained as they got ever closer to the green which held
many dragons who were watching her.
Gob was a little surprised by her statement; he couldn't ever imagine
not becoming a dragon rider. True he was one of the youngest to ever
bonded, but he had talked to and worked around dragons all his life.
"It'll be ok Jilly we will let your ma and da know soon; I just need
you
to meet some people first. I'll have you back before they ever knew
what
happened."
With that Gob sent a message to Punkin, {*I'm home can you tell Pav'lo
I
have a new possible dragon rider?*}
*Oh no Gob, what have you done now?* the dragon responded at the
nearly
the same time as forwarding the message to Pav'lo.
{*I found someone with dragon affinity*} Gob replied proudly.
Pav'lo spurted out his drink when he got that part of the message and
hurried out to greet his way ward charge. The message of what Gob did
suddenly spread through the warren like wildfire. Nightwind was more
the
helpful supplying any add information and reminding everyone that he
told Gob this wasn't a great idea.
Gob smiled when he sighted Pav'lo along with J'red hurrying out to
meet
him. {*Now they will see that I truly am a searcher*} Gob sent to
Nightwind.
*That's if they don't tie you down and ground you worse then they did
the last time you left the warren* Nightwind replied not bothering to
hide the fact he expected this action more then Gobs impression.
{*Oh don't be an old worry wart we did great*} Gob replied and helped
Jilly down from Nightwind.
"Jilly this is Pav'lo he is the quartermaster and the one that assigns
rooms and equipment." Gob turned toward J'red whose bright red face
took
the young man by surprise. "And um. This is J'red the Beta
Wingleader."
J'red tried to talk but seeing Jilly there with bewildered eyes he
couldn't form a coherent sentence to utter. Pav'lo who was much more
experienced with the ways of Gob however had no problem. "Explain
yourself young man."
"Not much to explain I heard talk we needed a searcher so I went and
searched, amazingly I found Jilly. Isn't she wonderful.? Well for a
girl
that is." No sense giving people the wrong interpretation he thought
quickly.
"And just who gave you permission to go searching?" J'red asked
finding
a few words he needed.
"No one, did it all on my own." Gob put his hand on his hips and
smiled
proudly as if he had accomplished some giant task." See for yourself
she
has dragon affinity"
"That remains to be seen Gob, you haven't even been tested yet."
Pav'lo
added.
"The boy is however correct," a voice spoke up behind everyone. A
crowed
having formed up parted to made room for Har'son, as the man looked
Jilly over. "She most definitely has Affinity a lesser Searcher might
have missed the signs, but Gob did a good job in seeing them."
With that said all eyes turned toward Jilly who looked a cross between
anger and worry at some many people taking such a notice of her. Not
to
mention all that she had already heard, with Gob going with out
permission and whisking her off to these crazy people.
