A few days before the laying.
The sun was high in the sky, birds sang there morning songs and flew
in
their skies. How long would it be their sky, with the black vale
coming over
the land. Hindering going beyond the boundaries of the warren.
Stepping in
to the woods was to wish death to thy self. So when the two brothers
were
freed from the terrier of the forest, they vowed never to go back in.
They
both stood, their backs to their one man tent. Looking in to the
woods. Not
to long a go they were happily sleeping in there own beds. Their
parents
just ten steps away. Now they knew they were gone, killed by what ever
lived
in the woods and beyond. Both of them sighed a deep sight and turned
to the
tent. Both of them were of the age of fifteen, red hair and thin. But
built.
They started to clean up around the tent area. They had come here with
the
town not to long ago and they had lived here in the warren. Alden and
Alton
were theirs names. They kept to them self for the fact they didn't
know
anyone and they still were shaken up.
As they walked around the warren they got looked at, for a moment it
took a
minute to figure out. People had to make sure they were seeing double.
Alden
and Alton were identical twins. They followed a path for a few minutes
and
made there way to the dinning center. Many times having to ask to make
sure
they were going the right way. Once there were inside they got
something to
eat and sat at a table close to the front. They didn't really want to
be
bother. But usually when you don't want to be bothered it happens.
A man walked up to them, stopped and stared at them for a moment.
Alden looked over his shoulder. "Do you need anything Sir?"
He still just stood there looking on. His blue eyes looking at them.
He
seemed confused.
Alton stopped eating his eggs and looked up.
The man blinked then spoke. "I'm T'rell, a searcher....and have either
of
you thought of being a rider?"
Both of the red heads looked at each other then back at T'rell. Alden
spoke.
"I'm Alden this is Alton, my brother. And to answer your question, no
not
really, why?"
He eyed them. "Well, both of you have affinity."
They had only heard of this. Both of them smiled with pride. "Really?"
Alden
asked.
He nodded. "If you like later I'll show you your searching barracks.?"
Alton nodded and Alden said they would. The man left rubbing his head.
Main
thought was what was it with twins and this warren
" You know its going to be fun around here." Alton said to his brother
as he
returned to his eggs.
"You are not kidding." Alden smiled.
<.....Searchling Barracks.....>
".....this will be where you two will stay." T'rell pointed to two
room. One
across the hall from the other. "Both of you will be moved when you
two
join."
Alden nodded and pushed a few questions that were answered quickly by
the
Searcher. They waited till he was gone to move Alton's bed into
Alden's
room. As they were trying to maneuver the bed in the hall a man with
light
silver tented hair stopped them.
"Do ya'll need any help?"
"Ah," Alden looked at the bed and to his door. "Sure." He smiled.
The man grabbed the bed. He was slightly older and stronger. He took
the bed
from Alton and him and Alden carried it in.
After setting the bed down, Alden said thanks.
"No problem, if you two ever need anything just ask. Oh, by the way my
name
is Dante."
Alden took his hand. "I'm Alden, this is my brother Alton."
Dante laughed. "Identical in look almost identical names."
"That is the best part about being twins." Alton smiled.
"Well its nice meeting the both of you." The man smiled and headed the
way
he was going.
Alden and Alton moved the beds so there was a space in between them so
there
was enough room for two small tables.

Afternoon
The young women watched as her brother and his dragon. They were up
there
all the time. Today was her day off and she was going to make her
rounds
talk to who ever see meets on the way.

Akety after being around the warren she headed back home, but on the
way she
ran across a fighting Sharees and Alexi. She stopped for a second to
see
what was happing and when both Sharees and Alexi turned and started to
go in
different directions she ran after Alexi.
Once she caught up to him, she saw him look at her from the corner of
his
eye. She smiled at him and asked with a grin. "Where are ya going?"
she
asked as sweetly as she could, knowing he would not be in the best of
moods.

Day 101
Early morning
After the hatching Jacks felt a need to always be in the air, always
on
watch. Dante didn't argue with him till he got very tired.
*We can't be up there every day Jacks.* Dante said.
[Ah, but the eggs. We have to be on watch. What if those things...]
He reached up and rubbed the greens nose. *Jacks, trust me as soon as
anyone
gets a whiff of those things we will be the first to be up there.*
[I don't want them near the warren....no where close to it. The
eggs...the....] Jacks looked into the window and in the closet.
*Oh, I see...* Dante smiled. *the puppies....that's what's got you all
worked up.*
[They are so cute, everyone thinks so. They are nightbreeds..I don't
want
anything to happen to my new little puppies.]
*Your as bad as a mother, those things out there are not going to want
to
bother something that small.*
Jacks looked around the warren from his ledge. [Can we fly?]
Dante laughed and sighed at the same time.*Sure, lets go.*

Summary:
Before hatching. > Alden and Alton are found my T'rell and told they
have
the affinity. Later on that day T'rell shows them there rooms. They
meet
Dante and he helps move the bed.
Akety moves around the warren with it being her day off she wants to
talk to
some people she had not had time to in a while. On the way home she
sees the
fight between Alexi and Sharees and when they part Akety follows
Alexi.
Day 101
Jacks has decided that he wants to fly all the time to protect the
eggs and
his new puppies.

Just to let you all know I'm still around, I just got stuck working
for 25
days straight. Wee. I think here soon I have a day off. But I'm also
getting
ready to move into a apartment all my own. Scary. But I don't plan to
be off
for long. I'm hoping to move next week. Again though I won't be off
for
long, that first thing I'm going to do is get my phone line and then
move my
Internet :) I couldn't be away from you guys too long. Me working all
the
time has been to long.
Well I hope to be on more.
