Subject: Sudden Action

Scene: Bridge of the USS Calypso

"Captain! The Romulan ****p is decloaking!" The ensign at tactical
exclaimed.

On the viewscreen, a distance away from the station, space rippled
briefly
as the Romulan ****p came into view.

"Are they answering our hails?" Brandt asked, gaze focussed on the
vessel on
the viewscreen.

"No sir."

The ****p suddenly moved, veering away from the station and the Calypso,
and
rippled again as it's cloaking device was engaged.

"Sir, they just beamed some people off the station."

"Find out who's missing, immediately."

"The tetryon emissions have stopped, sir. They must have gone to warp.
But
there's a message coming from the station, encoded."

Brandt waited a second, which seemed pretty patient, all things
considered.
"Well, what does it say?"

The tactical officer looked up. "It's just a set of co-ordinates, sir.
To
the Genim system."

NRPG: Short, I know, but writing block has been hitting me. The first
officer and the possessed scientists are gone, but it looks like a clue
has
been left.

Chris, aka Commander Lorn Mitchell, XO of the USS Calypso

Subject: [USS Calypso] Missing once again!

MD 4:1045

<Snip>

"Sir, they just beamed some people off the station."

"Find out who's missing, immediately."

"The tetryon emissions have stopped, sir. They must have gone to warp.
But there's a message coming from the station, encoded."

Brandt waited a second, which seemed pretty patient, all things
considered. "Well, what does it say?"

The tactical officer looked up. "It's just a set of co-ordinates, sir.
To the Genim system."

<End Snip>

"Genim Systm...what the hell?" Brant uttered.

"Captain, the first officer is gone along with the scientists that were
on the station. Ummm..at least the zombie ones sir!" The deck officer's
reply received a scathing scowl from the Calypso Captain. "Sir, we are
no longer being jammed!"

"What about the.." The com crackled to life filling the bridge with the
sounds of harsh static then suddenly the voice of the Ops Officer came
through. "Coltrane re****ting! Captain! Commander Mitch....."

Brant tapped the com on his chair, "We know Ensign," he answered
through gritted teeth, "is everyone okay?"

"Yes Sir!"

"Prepare to trans****t back immediately! Reed Out!" Then turning to one
of his officers, "I want the Away Team brought back immediately."

"Aye sir." Came the quiet answer.

[..] Georgi

Something was wrong! Horribly wrong! She'd felt something from the
station, something she couldn't explain and unlike anything she'd ever
felt before. A consciousness of sorts, no, actually more like an
awareness, yet disjointed, disoriented somehow. Suddenly feeling the
Captain's golden gaze on her Georgi peeked over at him from under long
auburn lashes only to bite her lip expectantly.

"Counselor, what do you know of the Genim System?"

"Not much really Suh, mainly cause ah ain't never heard of it b'fore.
But then ah ain't that well traveled around the galaxy neither."

Brant rose from his chair his eyes now locked on the view screen, "Find
out everything you can and re****t to the

briefing room in 30 minutes." Turning to the communications officer the
deep voice boomed across the bridge, "I want all Senior Officers in the
briefing room in half an hour with full re****ts!"

"Ummm..Captain, is there anything I can do to help?" Angel asked.

The tall man turned so fast to stare at her that the lounge hostess
slunk back in her chair. "You know anything about the Genim System?"
Brant demanded.

"Well I..." She answered hesitantly.

"Good, then you can help the Counselor!" He answered walking towards
his ready room without another word.

{Tag: To whomever wants to join in}

Respectfully submitted by,

Tree Deutscher

AKA

Captain Brant Reed, Commanding

USS Calypso

***Summary***

Finding the XO is gone and the ****p is no longer being jammed Brant
orders the away team back to the ****p.

Brant questions Georgi on Genim then calls a briefing in 30 minutes and
tells Angel to help Georgi
