"Engineers!" Spence muttered to himself as Vox and Claudia left
sickbay, still arguing. "Self-righteous and concieted...the whole
dang lot of them!" He then laughed. "I should know, I was one."
Then he thought how they'd make fine Admirals one day. Speaking of
admirals, Spence almost couldn't contain the laughter. "I wonder
how that tour with Admirla Curtail is going with T'Dre." This
REALLY amused him. "If I know T'Dre, the Admiral will think twice
before ever stepping onto my ****p again." <EG>
One of the nurses heard him muttering to himself. "Sir?" she asked
as she walked over to his bio bed. He shook it off. "Oh nothing,
just talking to myself. Would you hand me that PADD over ther on
the counter? I can't quite reach it from here." She gladly
obliged. "Here you go sir. Anything else?" He smiled. "No
thanks, that'll be all for now."
As she left he began to read about the new crewmember that would be
starting soon...Lt. Dehvon Raynah, CSO/TAC. Ensign Danny Saalik
will be glad to step aside to just be a memember of the security
team. Perhaps even to be his assistant.
As he read further, he began to have alittle pain in his leg. He
grimaced and wondered why he had to practically get blown up,
killed, or injured at the end of every mission. <G>
