(Day 17)
Gob was nearly skipping forcing Aeryth to walk at a quick pass to keep
up.
They didn't go far and the small young man stopped and with a mischief
grin
pushed one of the stones on the wall. A place in the wall opened up
showing
a small tunnel leading off into the darkness.
Gob reached inside to grab a torch as Aeryth investigated the opening
the
stone on the wall that had triggered the whole thing. It appears to be
just
like many of the other stones protruding out of the stone work. A
gentle
pull on her hand brought her back to the small dragon rider. Who now
held up
a torch and lead the way.
Gob chatted away as they moved through the tunnels, but Aeryth didn't
seem
to be paying much attention. They had only gone a few feet and there
was
already a fork in the tunnel Gob didn't hesitate he went to the right.
"This way, the other goes to a cliff outside." A couple minutes later
they
came into a wide room and Gobs torch could only light a small ****tion
of it.
"One second wait here."
As the young man moved around the room he lit torches on each wall. On
the
far wall was a statue of a dragon curled around a small boy. Faded
tapestry
also adorned the walls in between the 3 other exits. In the middle of
the
room is a hot spring the water bubbling and the steam rolling off.
Aeryth opened her mouth to say something, but before she could speak
Gob
splashed her teasingly. "See warm water. That exit over there will
take
you to the Green that one in the middle will take you to the Kitchen
and
that one over there will take you just outside the med center. There is
a
branch along the way that will take you to the Warrenladys office too
but
someone blocked that one off." He said the last as though disappointed.
Gob looked to Aeryth expectantly. (Tag Steph sorry it took so long and
it is
so short just been very busy)
