Subject: The small little things of life

"There is another possibility to this holodeck problem," Freda said
evenly. Heads turned, unaware that she had entered, unaware to how
long she had been there, unaware to how much she had heard. "She may
have been miniturized and placed in the program." Freda did not wait
for the look of "HUH!" but just continued.

"I have been reviewing various security technical manuals and have
come across this approach when SFIA/SFED was involved in security
work. We can talk about in general without worrying about it being
classified since we are not talking about the technical details
........ though we do have access to them."

"Basically, the subject is scanned as with a trans****ter and a
miniturized replica of them is created elsewhere. When SFED did this
operationally, their operative recreated herself and her lover on a
cockpit holo playing board. The replica does everything the originial
would do, reacts in everyway as the original does. When the operation
is over, the experiences of the replica are transferred back to the
original. The original has essetentially done what the replica has
done because the original remembers every detail as they would in
normal life. The original is then returned, just like with a normal
trans****ter operation."

"There is, however, a complication that we have that was not apparent
in the technical re****ts. With the SFED operative, she was on a
holoboard and the time scale was vastly accelerated to normal life. It
seemed normal but it was like being in dream where with no reference
to time, time spans are different in prespective."

"We don't have that here. She is in our time, time is moving along
normally despite how fast electrons move."

"Therefore, assuming that all this correct or mostly correct, we can't
use the technical manuals completely as is. We will have to modify
them to some degree. Assuming."
