Day 1 Early Morning
The blacksmith stood outside the medcenter breathing in the morning
air. With his head bent and muscular arms were he leaned against the
wall and to any onlooker appeared to be dozing, it had been a long
night afterall. Yet even though his eyes were closed his mind was
working rapidly.
He would have to get with T'rell, those tunnels had to be collapsed
somehow without creating more damage to the warren. From what Byorn and
Flerrion had shared with Samson the tunnels were extensive. The idea
would be to cave them in at the mouth, whereever that was. Collapsing
the entrance wouldn't be a problem. Finding it however could be
extremely dangerous, and if there was more then one...
A hand on his shoulder brought the big man out of his reverie. The
corner of his lips inched upward seeing whom it was.
"Hi." Sharees said softly. "Tough night!" She sighed. "Is Pandora ok?"
The blacksmith nodded, "Yeah, as well as can be expected I guess. What
brings you here?"
"Just checking on the trainees, doing a head count, and making sure
everybody is okay and where they're supposed to be." She answered, then
gave him a cute grin. "You know with Akety gone and you being her
'assistant' it wouldn't hurt for you to come along? They will be
looking for you for guidance now."
Lexi nodded again, "Yeah, I know." He replied. Emitting a deep sigh the
azure eyes lifted skyward making a mental tally of who was in the air.
"The healers are in with Sis now. I was going to wait for a bit to see
if she needed me."
The tenderness in her eyes brought a smile from the big man, "You run
along, I'll catch up with you." He added.
Leaning on her toes the Wing Second silently kissed the Smithy on the
cheek and giving his arm an encouraging squeeze disappeared inside.

Day 1
Late Morning
Med Center
Molina sighed and rubbed her neck. It had been a very long night
filled with chaos and strangers, more chaos and even stranger
strangers. Having arrived late last night she knew no one and felt
quite out of place. If it hadn't been for her joining with Gumdrop she
didn't know what she'd do.
Looking around the room she spied the dark haired girl that had
been hanging out with that foxy pair of twins. Aden and Axdan or was
that Elton and Arcon? Not that it really mattered, they were sure cute
though.
Absently stroking the sleeping hatchling next to her, the pert
honey blonde marveled at her new soulmates brilliant color. She was the
brightest yellow with little raised flecks of white that almost make
her look like she was coated with sugar. Her eyes were even the same
color. Hmmm, a giant gumdrop.
She was so lucky to have been chosen, when she'd made the
decision to come her family hadn't been too happy with her. But that
was ok, Molina had felt that it was something she'd had to do and now
she was a real dragonrider and they would be so excited and Gumdrop was
perfect in every way.
Rubbing her violet eyes until they felt like they were going to
pop out of the back of her head Molina glanced over at the sleeping
girl again. *I wonder if she is one of the twin's girlfriend?"
[Well there is only one way to find out.] Came the voice in her head.
[You know some of us like to sleep!]
As Sarette stirred in her sleep, moving her head from Star's lap
to tuck it under her tail. Star woke.
Opening her eyes, she looked down at the sleeping dragonet. Smiling,
she rubbed her eyes, then started looking around her at the sleeping
bodies in the room.
Most of the new dragonriders were asleep, or elsewhere.
Just then, she spotted a young girl, with honeyed colored hair,
watching her intensely.
Thinking to herself, *I wonder why that girl is watching me?*
Then deciding that the girl may be just looking at her as she is
looking at the girl.
[Star?] Sarette's voice came in Star's head, sleepily. *Yes,
precious one?* she replied, as she looked down at Sarette.
[Why are you not sleeping?] Sarette asked her.
*I was, but I woke when you moved.* Star replied. *I'm not so tired
now, but....*
[You hurt?] . *My ankle does a little, yes, but I'll be fine soon!*
*You go back to sleep, precious one, I'll be right here, if you need
me* Star told the dragonet.
As the dragonet curled back up, Star looked back around the
room, her gaze resting on that honey-haired girl. The girl was still
watching her, *Why?*, she wondered.
She stretched some, then stood up. Sarette looked up at her.
*It's ok, precious one, I'm just going to find something to drink, my
mouth is really dry. You go back to sleep*.
She waited until the little hatchling curled back up, before walking
away, all the while watching the girl out of the corner of her eye.
Before she was able to take two steps, the honey-blonde girl started
towards her and Sarette.
*Maybe, she wants to talk or something, maybe, she's shy like I
am*.
[Of course I also have this hole in my tummy that needs
filling?] Across the room Molina laughed and patted the yellow scales,
*I'll see what I can find for ya luv, you go back to sleep for a little
longer.* The blonde made the little female comfortable then, unsure of
where to go, decided the next best thing to do was ask.
Plopping down next to the dark-haired girl, she cleared her throat
loudly.
"Like hi there, I'm Molina! I'm joined with Gumdrop!" She said
proudly pointing at the sleeping yellow hatchling.
"Hello! I'm Star, I'm joined to the purple one here" Star said
as she looked down at Sarette. "Her name is Sarette.
"So how long have you been in the Warren?" Star asked the girl.
Molina let out a big sigh then wrinkled up her nose, "Twelve
hours maybe, but it seems like a real nice place so far!" Her eyes
widened when she realized how that sounded. "Well, I really didn't mean
it like that! I got in after dinner, and like they gave me this little
room, and like with all the bad things happening ya know I haven't had
much of a chance to look around! Like I bet you know a lot of people
here! Ummm, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure, go ahead!" Star replied, as the two of them got up to go
find something to drink and eat.
Twirling a lock of long blonde hair around her finger. "Well,
like I was wondering if you are sorta, you know kind of attached to one
of those cute guys you were hanging around with or maybe both? You know
the twins? I mean like if it's 'your' territory, like I don't want to
intrude or nothing like that!"
Star began laughing, then said as she looked over at the twins,
"Actually, I haven't had time getting that close to either of them.
I've only been here about as long as you have.
A table had been set up with some sandwiches and drink on it,
just outside the dragon area of the Med Center.
The two ate some sandwiches, then washed it down, quickly. Then
Molina grabbed a couple buckets of meat to take to her dragonet.
As they walked back to the sleeping dragonets, the two continued
their conversation about the twins.
"That Elton guy is sooooo hot! Like there is something just so
different about him" Molina grinned, "But I mean like wow if he's yours
and all........"
Laughing again, Star looked at Molina. "No, there's nothing like
that between us. They were just being nice and friendly to me. But I
agree with you they are both cute or hot as you say! Their names are
Alden and Alton," she said with a smile.
Just then Sharees appeared. "Hot? Did I hear someone say they
are hot? Is everything okay here? Are you girls okay? What about your
hatchlings?
"Uhh...no we're okay, our hatchlings are too, we were
uhh......talking about something else" Star said as she felt her face
growing warm from embarrassment. She quickly glanced at Molina, she
was blushing, also.
The two girls hadn't thought that anyone was close enough to
hear their conversation. Star looked at the woman, shyly. Seeing the
cut of the woman's riding leather, she then decided that this woman was
someone of importantance, she waited before speaking again.

Star woke, finding herself extremely thirsty. But before she was able
to move to go find something to drink, she noticed a honey-blonde girl
watching her, then she came over to her.
They introduced themselves to one another, then their
conversation turned to talking about the twins, Alden and Alton.
After finding some sandwiches and drink, they continued their
conversation, not noticing that another person had overheard a part of
the conversation.
Sharees asked about their health and the hatchlings health.
Star had no idea of who the woman was, but decided that she was
someone important, she remained quiet until the woman spoke directly to
her again.
