In the real world, there are real consequences of actions and words
unlike here where you can say whatever you want with no real
consequences of any significance. That is why turnaround stops once
the side who started it realizes that they have just been hosted on
their own petard and it is not worth the pain.

You do not have to be a Democrat to get them to do what you were
advocating. I simply mentioned the Democrats as they have the best
ability to do what you advocate. I suppose you could try to get the
Green Party to do the same but that would not be as effective.
