Here is another form of anti-intellectualism: see the top of
this page.  It is obviously not intended to communicate.

The trend I see here and in other newsgroups, resembles a
clean lake with many summer camps and working people
around it.  Then some outsider installs a sewage
outfall into that lake.  The lake being large, the sewage
is diluted; but in time you notice some of the camps are
deserted now; and the quality of the people who remain
is degraded.  One should think why that sewage outfall
was placed there: it's not by accident.
