The official name of the four groups of numbers is "a dotted
quad--" the dots are to make the 32-bit number easier to read --
and what they're sending is the IP address of the website by
means of which, if you were foolish enough to click on it, they
would get access to your system, read your data, and/or instal a
virus or Trojan Horse.

So you go right on deleting them unread.
