As for starting a flame-war, the argument it starts with against suicide
is
far more offensive to my mind:

  2280 Everyone is responsible for his life before God who has given it to
  him. It is God who remains the sovereign Master of life. We are obliged
to
  accept life gratefully and preserve it for his honor and the salvation
of
  our souls. We are stewards, not owners, of the life God has entrusted to
  us.  It is not ours to dispose of.

Accepting for the sake of argument a hypothetical Christian God who DID
give
everyone life, how is it anything but an unsolicited gift, and as such,
without obligation?  Or alternatively, wouldn't the only obligation be, if
you disliked the preconditions, to return it to the sender?
