What I remember of those ads is that the beautiful women were so 
persistent that the nerd who used the toiletry in question had to use 
the unconvincing chops just to keep them at arm's length. I wonder if 
the ads were different where you were.

I remember a dream where I was using karate chops. They were remarkably 
ineffectual, though after about a dozen of them, I saved the day and -- 
if memory serves -- kept Abe Lincoln from being assassinated. Woo! I 
have since wondered if the uselessness of the blows reflected a 
subconscious awareness of how phony the karate I saw on TV was.
