Now there's a coincidence.  Having posted that, I picked up the latest
issue of Locus, which had arrived this morning, and find in their
review of the year that 2007 was the year Paranormal Romance became a
publi****ng category (more or less).  And they too question as to what
qualifies.  Captain Kirk can have a woman on every planet and it still
be an adventure story, but if the lead character is a woman, it becomes
a romance.
