An H-bomb produces a lot of watts, but for a very short time.
Using H-bombs to produce power is possible. Simply build a very
large, very sturdy boiler, and set off H-bombs in the middle of it.
But you'd need not just one bomb, but one every few seconds for the
lifetime of the power plant. It would probably be cheaper just to
burn lots of coal.
