In my ongoing quest to get all fan-run sf conventions listed in Picofard,
I've come across a Russian convention named Aelita. It claims to be
Russia's current longest-running con, and it's held every year in
Yekaterinburg. However, the official site doesn't have the dates of the
next convention. I've come across a reference elsewhere to Dan Simmons
attending this year's Aelita, so it would still seem to be a going
concern. Unfortunately, Mr. Simmons doesn't have a list of upcoming
appearances on his Web site.
So, anyone know when this thing is held? There's a contact address on
the official site, but since I don't have the proficiency to actually
write to them in Russian, I thought I'd ask around before asking them
in English...
