Of the cars that Susan and i bought new (almost all Hondas) and drove
that long instead of trading them, not one lasted less than 100,000
miles - if i could have afforded better maintenance near thge end of
its life, i confidently expect i could have gotten half a million out
of my 88 Civic (which had 373,000 on it when it did die).
