That is correct, although mailing addresses generally give the name 
of the nearest town -- or at least, the town the contains the post 
office that services that area. Thus I live in Prince William 
County, but when I write down my address I put down "Manassas"; if I 
lived a few miles farther north, my address would be "Catharpin," 
which is an unincor****ated hamlet that's about two hundred yards 
across, but is used as an address for people living out in the country.
