Sure. They don't care whether you keep or delete Windows, just so
long as you pay for it. This is the so-called "Microsoft tax," which
buyers pay on nearly all computers.

I prefer NetBSD. Linux seems to be mostly of interest to Microsoft
refugees and their followers. The various BSDs are of more interest
to those of us with a mainframe or mini background.
