Why not?  Assuming it's not bolted down, it will topple if and only if
the force is sufficient to move its center of gravity outside of its
square footprint.  This will take 40 percent more force diagonally,
since its footprint is that much wider in that direction.

If, as is more likely, it is bolted down, the analysis is more
complicated, but I think the result comes out the same, assuming all
four bolts are equally strong.
