Red Wull

We adopted a cat from the animal shelter; he was big, he had a friendly
personality, but Lisa feared he was unadoptable because he was older and
---
his tail had been amputated.  She named him "Red Wull" after a tailless
dog
from a story she liked.

    His health had become dodgy in the past year or so, but for different
reasons.  He was losing weight and listless, but we thought it was only
his
not eating because he didn't like the food.

    It turned out he had a mass in his liver.  We held him and petted him
as
the vet put him to sleep.
