There is a network of local buses in the Philadelphia-Cherry Hill 
(according to the web site someone posted here).  My suggestion: call 
the hotel and ask how to get there via public transit from Chinatown (or 
wherever you're starting from).

For example, it took me about two minutes to discover that there is a 
public bus #404 running from 6th & Race in Philadelphia to the Cherry 
Hill Mall.  GoogleMaps then tells me that the Crowne Plaza is about 4 
miles away.  There could well be another bus that runs there, but in any 
case, you've solved the bridge problem.

And surely someone who is *used* to taking public transit could figure 
this out, instead of griping about having to walk from Philadelphia.
