Likewise.  But I always specify, to avoid just such confusion.
Similarly, I never say 12 am or 12 pm, but say noon or midnight.
And if I say midnight on a particular day, I say whether I mean
the ending or beginning of that day.

WSFA once hosted a picnic, specifying that it would begin "at 12."
One person showed up at midnight, rather than at noon as intended.
Fortunately, it was still going on.
