Why not celebrate it as Isaac Newton's birthday?

Since he discovered the nature of colored light, colorful lights and
decorations make more sense in that context than in the context of a
Christian holiday.  Of course the pine tree ought to be replaced with
an apple tree, but then what does any kind of tree have to do with the
birth of a child in a manger?
