What about walking to the *hotel*?  I go to Philcon on the Chinatown
bus from DC.  How far is this year's hotel from Philadelphia's
Chinatown?  Is there a city bus that goes that way?  Philcon's
website doesn't say.

is, well, a whine. It is quite *separate* from the actual and
reasonable
questions that you did write.That you also seemed to mean that
getting
to any hotel that a con chooses to use is somehow their responsibility
to
cover, also displays a great amount of narcissism on your part; That
you tried to cover that by lumping in all non " motorists " ( Many of
whom
I would bet would not want you speaking for them. ) around you is
also not a good nor honest thing.

Any fan interested in getting to any con has the sole responsibility
of getting themselves there. In those long gone old days of no Web,
the ability of any con to provide prospective attendees with 100% of
all their needed navigational data didn't exist, yet cons went on, and
folks still came. Today its a lot easier, so whines about how hard it
is
now, well, sink like self absorbed rocks.

Many non drivers are also smart enough to figure out that they might
need a lift from a driver ( And, their car ), and take that
responsibility
to find and arrange for themselves.
