Five years ago today, March 24, in a hotel room in Hefei, China, we were
handed a thirteen-month-old girl and became a family. Sarah (whose name
was Xihuan) was clearly wary of the whole thing, but with love and
Arrowroot Biscuits, we managed to convince her to string along with us.
