I have *some* faith in how "The System" will respond to someone
who knows his rights when it has no evidence.  Not a *lot* of faith.
They could just shoot me 41 times for no reason as they did Amadou
Diallo.  Or they could plant evidence on me.  But they're far more
likely to seek out an easier target.  Preferably someone who hasn't
yet unlearned what they were "taught" in public high school civics
class -- to cooperate fully with authorities, as they're the good
guys, and as innocent people have nothing to fear in the US.
