Incidentally, on the matter of corridors and temperature...

I was working green room, and had cause therefore to often walk through
the narrow corridor that ran from Commonwealth to the green room which
avoided fighting your way through the crowds standing on the bridges
over the river in the atrium bar.  (We christened the bridges Bifrost,
by the way.)  Most of the corridor was as freezing as the rest of the
hotel, but about a third of the way along it, you'd find a blast of hot
air descending.
