Oh, during the day the road is usually half empty.  "Parking 
Enforcers" work during the day and ticket anything not moving.  Double 
parking is more common after 6pm when they've gone home for the day, 
and the police will only bother if the car completely blocks the road. 
  So long as they can get their "mee maws" up there, weaving in and 
out of the spaces, they'll leave the double parked car alone - but 
they might give it a good bash or scrape as they go past.
