As best I recall, I haven't kept insisting that houses are just as 
affordable as ever, if not more so. Sometimes housing prices go up 
faster than other prices, sometimes not. What is true is that since it's 
a capital cost, current real interest rates are relevant. If real 
interest rates are low, that lowers the real cost of home ownership.
