It's not just a matter of the interest rates, but the billing time. If 
you are paid interest based on your highest bank balance within a month, 
you can keep the balance high, by purchasing with a credit card which 
doesn't charge you until the next month. You then pay off the credit 
card dept from your bank account, before interest is due.
