They have ear buds now with these little floppy plastic cups that go in 
the ear canal for a relaxed fit. For about $35, they are a less 
expensive version of noise-cancelling phones. The first ones I bought 
were Sony, and after about a year of use (which ended in me closing a 
box on the cord) I found an even less expensive version of them made by 
Philips that I like just as much.
