They've probably replaced most of the rail cars since then anyway.

I too Amtrak to the 2002 San José Worldcon and back.  But when I tried
to take it to the 2004 Boston Worldcon, they wouldn't let me board
without ID.  So I took a bus to that Worldcon.

Colorado is further than I care to travel by bus, so I won't be
attending this year.  Or in any of the next few years, assuming the
next few Worldcons are where it now appears they will be.  As far as
I know, no place in or near the Northeast ("Boswash") Corridor is
currently bidding for any year.
