Um, Keith: I think it was just the last line, the anti-motorist line,
that rubbed people the wrong way.  It changed your post from a simple
request for info into a bullheaded kvetch about Some People who don't
take Users of Public Transit into account.

Nobody questions your fannish credentials, although some may not know
them.

By the way, the NJ Transit Atlantic City Line stops a few blocks
from the hotel; you can get it at 30th Street station.  fare is 
$4, $1.75 if you're disabled.

Also, the bus that someone else pointed out, seems to go directly
from Chinatown to the hotel.

Those of us who plan cons attached to cities generally *do* take
public transit into account in hotel choices.  It's a very big
issue for Contata, for instance, since only one or two concom 
members even own cars.

Lunacon is somewhat more limited in being able to take public transit
into account, because of their huge size requirement.

Philcon seems not to be as big as it was in the '90s,
and there are more good-sized hotels in the suburbs.
