I just got back from another used book sale. This one was at a
Catholic school in Maryland, about a mile from a Metro station.
I got 21 hardbacks, 21 paperbacks, and 2 DVDs for $10 (not counting
the Metro trip, which was less, but not much less). I also got plenty
of exercise.
Yesterday, at a library used book sale, I got 16 hardbacks, 15
paperbacks, 8 CDs, and 8 DVDs.
The next one's in June, at a local historical society, and the next
one after that in October, at a local library.
With the current cost of new books, I seldom buy any, except mass
market paperbacks by my favorite authors. I buy new trade paperbacks
maybe two or three times a year, and new hardbacks less than once
a year.
