Is the government still denying that there's a recession?

Maybe they'll skip directly from saying that there's no recession to
saying that it's finally over.  I think they've done that before.

Is it possible they were smarter thousands of years ago?  Presumably
over the centuries they've been bred for greater and greater docility
and stupidity.

If everyone is to get a refund this year, why would anyone
procrastinate?  I sent mine in in February.  Of course in years when
I'm required to write them a check, you'd better believe it doesn't
see the inside of a mailbox until the 15th of April.
