Likewise.  My current address only dates to 2000.  My first posts in
this newsgroup were more than twice that long ago.  So my true number
of posts here may be closer to 40,000 than 20,000.

I got my own domain name specifically so that I wouldn't have to
change address when I changed ISP.  Over the years I've been on MIT
(several addresses), Digex (several addresses), Clarknet, Radix,
Plethora, and Panix.

I think Google may be phasing out
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.sf.fandom/about
Similarly with other newsgroups.  Over the past few days, I've often
had to reload several times to get the page I quoted from.  I suspect
they've "upgraded" some but not yet all of their servers to no longer
show that page.
