I live in Virginia, which is GMT -4 or -5, depending on whether we're
on daylight saving time.  Marilee lives in Virginia too.  Karl lives
in British Columbia, which is GMT -7 or -8, the same time zone as
California, where Dorothy Heydt and David Friedman live.
