It's also that he ran in 1916 on a platform of keeping the US out of
that war.  What's the point in democracy if the voters don't get what
they vote for?

Fortunately, not all of them stuck -- such as having anyone who
criticizes the war thrown in prison.

People who think the current president is the worst ever know nothing
about history.
