I just did - I showed them someone who posts advertising to a 
non-advertising newsgroup then complains when people call him on it. And 
a publisher who won't be selling me, at least, any books.

And before you ask; yes, I did read the author's earlier books. I am 
mildly curious about how he plans to follow up the original stories, but 
not enough to do business with spammers. I'll wait until he finds 
another publisher.
