Most everything is blocked in/out.  ****t 80 and 443 is allowed out going.
Any site with mail, group, forum, blog or the like in the name is blocked,
and there's a black list.  If you can justify it, ****ts will be opened but
only to/from specific IPs.

Plus, the only shell account I have to access now is my web hosting and
there's no news feed there.

But!  Just today I discovered quite by accident that the organization that
leases the space next door has installed a open wireless link for guests.

Which doesn't help Usenet since RoadRunner won't let you connect unless
you're coming from a RoadRunner IP.

But at least now I can get to the technical forums when I need to.
