I hadn't thought of that, and I'm sure there are regulations about
child-proof caps over here as well.  Then again, my father was rather
weak by then, and I'm not sure he could have managed a child-proof cap.

Further, his oldest child by then was in his forties, and his oldest
grandchild in mid-teens, so I they may have assumed there wasn't any
problem with children being around.
