Hmmm... I'm not so sure. The article did seem to have a
certain ... sarcasm about its subject that seems to me to be
unlikely in a spam posting hawking the books.

I'm not a Palmer fan particularly -- I liked "Emergence"
novella a whole lot, the later parts of the novel less so.
As for Threshold... I've had a few disparaging things to say
about it over the years.
