You're not seriously arguing that the people of New Orleans
weren't warned of the approach of Hurricane Katrina, or that they
were at risk?

_I_ was warned about the damned storm, and what it could mean for
New Orleans, and I live 1200 miles to the north.

I don't believe it is possible for any thinking, reasoning human
being to live in New Orleans and not understand the peril
represented by high winds and a huge wall of water.

Apparently you believe otherwise.

That doesn't say much for your opinion of the people of New
Orleans.
