That I tend to agree with. Individual tiny modules or "applets" networked 
together to do individually tiny tasks and grouped to do major tasks.

And being modular, it's easier to upgrade them.

P.S. Now if only they could do that with the hardware, cpu cards, video 
cards, disk drives, input controls, etc. so you could essentially have a 
personal computer the size of a cell phone, plugged into a "hub" along
with 
various addons and peripherals that are easy to upgrade or expand 
individually.
