LOL, well, the way I heard the story, the guy telling it did a no doubt 
now considered racist impression of Japanese muttering on the phone, but 
I found that impossible to type, so I said "herro herro herro"

True story:  In my favorite Japanese restaurant, they shout out the 
regulars names when they walk in.  I feel like Norm entering Cheers.
