Right.  You watched and enjoyed it when you were much younger.

That's because most of them also saw the movie when they were younger, 
rather than seeing it for the first time when they turned 45.  (Though 
they may have seen it again on DVD more recently.)  It's not as if no 
one at the age of 45 ever heard of Godzilla before.

Whereas Cloverfield is brand new.
