This has always been one of my faourite Goon Shows! But did you 
understand the very end? Because to do so, you should know that at 
the time there was a news story about some passengers who refused 
to get off a tube train that was taken out of service before its 
destination, and they got shunted into the sidings. The final gag 
is a reference to this.
