Sounds to me like typical Hollywood hackery; throw in a few stock
phrases such as "bouncing off proxy servers" and hope that the audience
buys it.
What strikes me more about this movie -- which I hadn't heard of until
your post -- is how similar the plot sounds to an episode of Millennium
from a decade ago. Having just Googled to find the episode title ("The
Mikado" if anyone's interested), I see I'm not the only one pointing
this out.
Where has all the originality gone?
