I am a Writer/Filmer/Singer/Songwriter..who has had this idea banging
around for years. I wrote it then sat on it, now I think I have a way
to bring some fun into my vision...A way for us all to get a movie
made.
A tale of mystery and horror based on actual events.
A small sleepy handful of towns in the central hills of Massachusetts
is rocked by a series of horrendous murders in the late 1920's
They are never solved.
In the late 1990's a nanny is butchered in Boston. Only her lower
torso is ever
found.
Christmas 2007 Five students disapeer while house hunting near what is
now called the Quabbin Reservoir.
Underneath the 413 billion of gallons of water lie the untouched towns
that had experience those brutal murders so many decades ago. Found
video indicates something evil and supernatural is connecting these
unsolved events.
Detective Randall Palmer is searching for answers, the biggest of
which is...What would scare the Commonwealth of Massachusetts so much
that it would submerge four towns in order to hold it down...
The Project is accepting video segments from amature to professionals
who wish to be involved in the Muti-Segment Quabbin. We will publish a
chapter each month, maybe two if response is good in which you can film
your own Six minute chapter movie. There will be eleven segments and
a total of twelve in the completed project. Each chapter will be
loaded with material custom made to be placed on film...your
interpretation, and you genius...
The selected 11 video chapters will be invited to be a part of the
finale, in which it will be all pulled together, a youtube page will
be set up where we can all view our artwork, and vote which video
becomes the official video chapter. Once we have them all, we will
string them together and make it all fit. I love the idea of working
this work shop setting to actually produce a finished product! I have
a sound track recorded for this project and ask that that you leave a
little space in your submission for a score track to be played (say
over the car radio as the characters travel,or playing over the loud
speakers at the mall...besides that how you interpret and film the
chapter is all yours...Just make it as scary as possible
Each month submissions will be accepted and a new chapter published.
Chapter One and e-mail address to send video segments too are on our
website:

I look forward to seeing what we can put together
